Char Dham Yatra

𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐫 𝐃𝐡𝐚𝐦 𝐘𝐚𝐭𝐫𝐚, also known as the Four 𝐃𝐡𝐚𝐦 𝐘𝐚𝐭𝐫𝐚, is one of the most important pilgrimages in Hinduism. This yatra takes devotees on a journey to the four holy shrines of Yamunotri, Gangotri, Kedarnath, and Badrinath, located in the Indian state of Uttarakhand. The yatra is believed to wash away sins and grant moksha (salvation) to those who undertake it.

The Four Dham Shrines:

Yamunotri: The first stop on the Char Dham Yatra is Yamunotri, located in the Garhwal Himalayas. This shrine is dedicated to Goddess Yamuna, one of the major goddesses in Hinduism.
Gangotri: The second stop on the yatra is Gangotri, located in the Uttarkashi district of Uttarakhand. This shrine is dedicated to Goddess Ganga,
Kedarnath: The third stop on the yatra is Kedarnath, located in the Rudraprayag district of Uttarakhand. This shrine is dedicated to Lord Shiva, one of the major deities in Hinduism.
Badrinath: The final stop on the yatra is Badrinath, located in the Chamoli district of Uttarakhand. This shrine is dedicated to Lord Vishnu, one of the major deities in Hinduism.
